The extra “Jack” didn’t help clear my mind of the task and extreme danger that lays ahead of us. I have trouble sleeping – probably wake up 4 or 5 times. Somewhere around 5:00, I awake with the serious need to pee – “like a big dog”, as one of my frat brothers used to always say. Walking down the moon-lit hall, I notice Makali is sleeping with his door open. Glancing in, I see a familiar sight. Even though the room is furnished with a very comfortable (and fairly expensive) double bed, Makali is sound asleep on the floor, on his bedroll .
