Hanging up, she connects her phone to the charger on her desk, then opens her computer to the screen showing 10 of the 50 ‘cams’ mounted around the Zoo. From anywhere, using her laptop, she has the ability to visually confirm the activities in most of the caged areas. She even has the ability to zoom in for closer observation. As the screen loads, she opens her door and walks across the hall to get a cold bottled water from the refrigerator. Dr. David Hart is in the kitchen.
“Hey, David. I see you survived the gorillas and the school kids,” she said smiling.
“Yes, barely,” David said laughing.
