When on safari, Charlie can alway be reached by radio. This form of communication is required for hunting businesses by the Wildlife Ministry. For the safety of the clients, communication must always be possible. Her favorite way to call Charlie, is video calling using her Zoo ‘Skype’ account. It just seems more real and genuine. Its’ limitation, of course, is that he must be near enough to his laptop to see and hear the ‘phone’ ring. Video calling is really an amazing breakthrough. Whether in the bush of East Africa, or a highrise building in Nairobi, if Charlie has a satellite signal and can connect to the internet, she can have a personal conversation. Charlie really prefers this method too, especially when calling home to visit with his daughter, Claire. Besides asking him to help with the lion capture, she needs to discuss Claire’s graduation and job decision. So this time she feels that some real face-to-face, or as in this case, monitor-to-monitor discussion might yield better results.
