Just let your horse do all the work..

You look a little concerned, you ok?”

“Yes, I’ve just have never ridden very much,” he said.

“Relax,” I replied with a smile. “Just let your horse do all the work.”

“If we see any game we might want to hunt, what do we do?” He asked.

“Great question. That is one reason I have to ride where I can see both Makali and Bryce. If we spot anything, I see their signal and I will motion to halt. When I stop, the wranglers know to hurry up here to hold our horses. I’ll signal you to dismount and then the fun begins. I will quietly tell you what to do,” I answered.

“Ok, Bwana.” He replied with a grin.

We rode quietly for awhile. I could tell Stan was jumpy. Alan later told me that they used horses on their bear hunt last summer, and at one point Stan actually fell off. He wasn’t hurt, only embarrassed.
